I never met Daniel. I don't know him, I'm not related to him, I don't know any of his friends. What I do have is his website.
A few years ago, I heard about Daniel in the news. I Googled his name and found his website. I knew that due to the publicity it would soon be taken down, so I copied the entire site. I read it and had a big laugh.
Then Daniel died. It's not quite as funny now. In fact, it's rather depressing. It's hard to see 'The Dude' smiling and having fun. It's hard to know he left behind a wife.
